Asia e University (AeU) is honoured to announce the successful exchange of a Framework Agreement with Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), People’s Republic of China, on 28 July 2026, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership that will strengthen educational, professional and industry collaboration between Malaysia and China.
The Agreement was formally exchanged by Professor Dato’ Dr. Ansary Ahmed, Founder President of Asia e University, and Professor Zhou Mingshan, Vice President of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. This milestone reflects the shared vision of both institutions to develop globally competent leaders through innovation, executive education, international collaboration and lifelong learning.
The partnership will be driven by AeU’s School of Professional and Executive Education Development (AeU-SPEED) in close collaboration with SWUFE’s School of Continuing Education. The first flagship initiative, the China–Malaysia Executive Business Accelerator (CM-EBA), will provide executive and leadership development opportunities while supporting cross-border business, talent mobility and industry engagement.
Looking ahead, this collaboration will extend beyond executive education to encompass postgraduate pathways, professional certification, joint research and innovation, faculty and student exchanges, study visits, policy dialogues and technology collaboration.
Together, AeU and SWUFE aspire to build a dynamic ecosystem that connects academia, industry and government while contributing to stronger Malaysia–China relations and the development of future-ready leaders across the ASEAN region and beyond.
