The School of Professional and Executive Education Development, Asia e University (AeU-SPEED), was honoured to participate in welcoming a distinguished delegation from the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) during their official visit to Asia e University (AeU) on 14 April 2026.
The OUT delegation was led by its Vice Chancellor, Prof Alex Boniface Makukilo, while the AeU delegation was headed by Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Noor Raihan Ab Hamid. AeU-SPEED took particular interest in engaging with the Institute of Continuing Education, OUT, represented by its Director, Dr Leopard Jacob Mwalongo, to explore potential avenues for collaboration.
The key discussions held between AeU and OUT centred on identifying strategic opportunities for joint initiatives in Open and Distance Learning (ODL), as well as in professional development and continuing education, with a shared commitment to advancing accessible and industry-relevant learning.
