On 24 February 2025, a fruitful B2B meeting took place between the School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) at Asia e University and the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) during the Atlantic Canada Multi-Sector Trade Mission to Kuala Lumpur.
CNA is one of Atlantic Canada largest post-secondary institutions, serving over 7,000 students across 17 campuses in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The discussion was led by Elizabeth Kidd, President and CEO of CNA, and Elizabeth Jean Vincent, AVP International, alongside Philip Lim, Head of SPEED, and Associate Professor Dr. Frank Kiong, Deputy Dean of the School of Management.
The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration in in the offering of short courses, online learning, and corporate training initiatives. Both parties identified key synergies in specialized workforce development, with a strong focus on micro-credential programmes and customized training solutions. SPEED expressed strong interest in leveraging CNA’s expertise to enhance talent upskilling efforts.
The discussion concluded on a positive note, with a shared commitment to further engagement and partnership opportunities. This marks a significant step toward fostering international cooperation in education and skills development.
