It was a momentous occasion for Dr. Jonathan Lee, the Managing Director of Acylogy Professional Aromatherapy and a PhD alumnus of Asia e University (AeU), when he, along with his Directors Sanya Chan and Cathy Yap, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED).
The MoA ensures that the professional certificates in aroma, aromatherapy, and skincare programmes provided by Acylogy are endorsed and certified by SPEED.
Present at the brief ceremony were Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Juhary Ali, who was Dr. Jonathan Lee's academic supervisor, Registrar Mr Yusoff Musa, Director of the School of Graduate Studies Dr. Swa Lee Lee, Head of SPEED Philip Lim, and his team.
Dr. Jonathan also took the opportunity to discuss with Dr. Norlina Kamudin, Director of Talent Management & Development, the potential for offering his programmes to AeU staff.
The MoA is a testament to the role played by SPEED in supporting the entrepreneurial pursuits of Asia e University alumni, reflecting its commitment to fostering innovation, professional development, and industry collaboration among the university’s graduates.
