The "Agriculture Drone Operation: Mapping and Spraying" training kicked off today with great enthusiasm as 25 participants from the agriculture sector gathered at the Remote Pilot Smart Classroom of the Drone Academy at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).

SPEED welcomed the participants to the five-day training session, promising an engaging and enriching learning experience. The training is designed to equip attendees with cutting-edge skills and knowledge in drone technology, specifically tailored for agricultural applications.

Spearheaded by Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Zulafif Bin Rahim, the dedicated team from UTHM’s Drone Academy includes experts such as Dr. Siti Juita Mastura Binti Mohd Saleh, Dr. Mohd Fauzi Bin Yaakub, and Drone Instructor En. Yaacub Zaki Bin Ali. Also present were Associate Professor Ts Dr Omar Mohd Faizan Bin Marwah @ Omar and the Safety Manager, Associate Professor Ts. Dr Nurhayati Binti Rosly.

The team aims to provide comprehensive in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in drone operation. The participants eagerly anticipated the skills and insights they would gain, setting a positive tone for the rest of the training programme, which promises to be both exciting and highly informative.
