Asia e University (AeU) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing integrity, governance, and public trust through a high-level roundtable under the Wacana Ilmiah Perdana series.

Co-chaired by AeU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Noor Raihan Ab Hamid and Institut Integriti Malaysia Board Member Dato’ Seri Hj Mustafar Hj Ali, the session brought together key stakeholders from enforcement agencies, academia, and civil society, including Malaysia Corruption Watch.

Among those present were representatives from SPRM and its independent oversight bodies, Asia e University, Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM), and Malaysia Corruption Watch (MCW). Notable attendees included Dato` Ahmad Rosli Mohd Sham, Datin Yasmin Ahmad Merican, Datuk Dr Hj Mazlan Hj Ahmad, Assoc Prof Dr Hj Azmi Hj Mohd, Assoc Prof Dr Khursiah Abd Aziz, Tuan Jules Rahman Ong, and Tuan Rosdi Amir.

Discussions centred on strengthening institutional integrity frameworks, fostering deeper collaboration, and restoring public confidence, building on the Wacana Ilmiah Perdana Bersama SPRM dan Asia e University held on 7 April 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

Both AeU and SPRM emphasised that sustained cross-sector collaboration is vital in building a resilient integrity ecosystem and driving meaningful governance reforms for Malaysia’s future.
