Asia e University (AeU) and its School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) proudly participated in Policy Day at the SME World Forum Kuala Lumpur 2024 (SWFKL 2024), a pivotal segment of this esteemed global event.

Held on 28 November, Policy Day convened a dynamic assembly of thought leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss transformative strategies for the growth and resilience of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The day began with a Welcome Address by AeU’s Founder President and Forum Chair, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ansary Ahmed, who emphasized the importance of policies that align with the evolving challenges and opportunities faced by MSMEs globally.

The agenda featured compelling presentations from SME Corp Malaysia, Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Malaysia (SAMENTA), the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs Malaysia (NAWEM), and The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), Azerbaijan, among others.

Highlights included panel discussions on Entrepreneurship and Innovation and engaging sessions exploring Korean Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Korean Investments into Malaysia and Other ASEAN Countries.

AeU and SPEED’s active participation underscored their commitment to advancing knowledge-sharing, fostering innovation, and playing a pivotal role in shaping policies that drive sustainable growth within the MSME ecosystem.
