SAS Institute, a global leader in analytics, has partnered with the School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) at Asia e University (AeU) to deliver cutting-edge Future Skills training for Malaysian professionals. This collaboration, the first in the region, aims to equip the workforce with essential skills for the rapidly evolving digital economy.

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signing ceremony at SAS Institute’s office in Menara IQ, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur.

AeU Founder President, Professor Dato Dr Ansary Ahmed, and SAS Institute’s Managing Director for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, Febrianto Siboro, signed the agreement, marking a significant milestone in advancing Malaysia talent development agenda.

Through this initiative, SAS and SPEED will jointly offer training pathways leading to SAS Certified Professional in AI & Machine Learning and SAS Certified Data Scientist credentials. SPEED will promote and manage the programmes, ensuring accessibility for individuals and organizations across Malaysia. Meanwhile, SAS will deliver industry-relevant curricula, oversee programme content and assessments, and support certifications to ensure participants gain practical, job-ready skills.

The training focuses on key Industry 4.0 domains, including advanced analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation. Designed to blend theory and practical application, these programmes aim to empower participants to stay competitive globally and contribute to Malaysia Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 and Industry 4.0 agenda. This partnership reinforces both entities commitment to fostering future-ready talent for Malaysia digital economy.
