The Malaysian Manufacturers’ ESG & Sustainability Growth (MYM-ESG) programme launched yesterday, 5 March at Asia e University is a comprehensive initiative designed by the School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) @ Asia e University and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Institute to empower Malaysian manufacturers with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Through structured training, certification, and special projects, MYM-ESG aims to foster sustainable business growth, responsible manufacturing, and long-term industry resilience.
The MYM-ESG logo reflects the programme’s core values and vision, incorporating Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus, to symbolize resilience and progress. The red and green font colors represent growth, trust, and innovation, reinforcing the commitment to guiding businesses in adopting ESG best practices. Its interconnected design highlights collaboration and the seamless integration of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance excellence across industries.
MYM-ESG offers four levels of certification, ranging from foundational ESG principles to expert-level leadership and innovation. Additionally, MYM-ESG includes customized sustainability initiatives, industry-specific training, and high-impact events such as the Future-Ready ESG Conference 2025 and the Advanced Leadership Programme at the Moller Institute, University of Cambridge.
