SPEED is honoured to take part in the “Space Forward: Driving Innovation for a Sustainable Space Future” forum, a closed-door strategic dialogue jointly organised by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and Asia e University (AeU).
Hosted at the MIGHT Partnership Hub in Cyberjaya, the forum brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators in the Malaysia’s space ecosystem. The timely dialogue framed space as Malaysia’s next frontier for business, innovation, and sustainable competitiveness.
The keynote was delivered by Emerita Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Mazlan Othman, a luminary in the Malaysia’s space arena and a Senior Associate of MIGHT. AeU’s Founder President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ansary Ahmed, delivered the Opening Address and subsequently moderated the session on steering innovation and sustainable competitiveness in Malaysia’s space industry.
SPEED was represented by its SPEED Advisory Council (SAC) Chairman, Adjunct Professor Dato’ Dr Tan Yew Chong, SAC Member Dato’ Amirnuddin Mazlan, and Head of SPEED, Philip Lim. Also present was the Senior Manager of the Presidents Office Mohamed Suffian Rasheed Khan.
