The Partnership and Audit Visit to Sri Lanka by Asia e University (AeU) and its School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) commenced on 23 September 2025 with an impactful engagement at the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS Multiversity).

The delegation, led by AeU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Noor Raihan Ab Hamid, was warmly received by IIHS Multiversity CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe, together with his leadership team, faculty, and students, creating an atmosphere of genuine goodwill and collaboration.

Besides audit, one of the highlights of the visit was Prof. Noor Raihan’s keynote address, “Empowering Sustainable Futures: A Paradigm Shift in Education”, which inspired both staff and students with its forward-looking vision. The talk underscored AeU’s commitment to advancing inclusive, accessible, and future-ready education.

Accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Registrar Yusoff Musa, Head of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Assoc. Prof. Ts. Fazilah Che Fauzi, Head of SPEED Philip Lim, along with SPEED representatives Nur Zuriayati Mohd Zainun and Nurin Shahira Mohd Yunus.

The programme included insightful discussions with leaders of key unions in Sri Lanka’s health sector and a constructive audit session, both of which laid a solid groundwork for future collaboration. The warm hospitality and enthusiasm of IIHS Multiversity further underscored the shared commitment to building a partnership of enduring impact.

Concluding the day, IIHS Multiversity graciously hosted a dinner in honour of the delegation, joined by AeU Founder President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ansary Ahmed, further strengthening the bonds of friendship and collaboration.
