Asia e University (AeU), through its School of Professional and Executive Education Development (AeU-SPEED), proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lingyang Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alibaba Group, on 31 July 2026 in Guiyang, China.
The MoU was signed by AeU Founder President, Prof. Dato’ Dr Ansary Ahmed, and the Director General, Digital Intelligence, Talent Development Center of Lingyang Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd., Mr Cai Peng, on the sidelines of the 2026 China-ASEAN Seminar on Digital Trade Education and Industry Cooperation, marking a significant milestone in advancing AI talent development and strengthening Malaysia–China collaboration in artificial intelligence, executive education and workforce development.
As an initial initiative, the partnership will introduce two flagship programmes: the Alibaba–Lingyang AI Acceleration Programme for Entrepreneurs, leading to the Certified AI in Digital Entrepreneurship certification, and the Alibaba–Lingyang AI Employability Accelerator for University Students, leading to the Certified AI for Employability certification.
A key highlight of this collaboration is the exclusive immersive training and certification experience at Alibaba’s Xixi Campus in Hangzhou, China, where participants will gain direct exposure to China’s world-leading AI ecosystem through enterprise visits, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities and engagement with AI innovators.
This landmark collaboration reflects AeU’s commitment to developing globally competitive, AI-ready entrepreneurs, professionals and graduates while strengthening educational and technological collaboration between Malaysia and China.
